Server Heroes [February 21, 2010]

Attention all guilds of Rappelz!
The Seekers are well on their way to making their presence known through the land.  This emergence from the darkness is a warning that the rise of this cult is complete, and they are in their next stage in conquering this world.  The leaders of the Asura, Gaia, and Deva havea met and are formulating their counter attack against this ancient foe and are calling for the most powerful heroes of Rappelz to show their might.  Your efforts will be pivotal in the plans for turning the tide in this war. A competition will be held where each guild will put forth their most skilled hero to battle to be the champion of the world, and help to save the land from darkness.

Rules:
Your guild must own one of the dungeons at the time of the beginning of the tournament (March 1).
Only one hero from your guild can participate in the tournament. Please choose one alternate hero as a backup in the event that your hero will not be able to attend his/her fight.
If the Hero and the alternate are not available to fight, your guild will be disqualified from the tournament.
An alternate hero may only be used for one match.
Alternate heroes may not be used in the semi-finals and/or finals.
In the event that a hero is not able to attend a fight and their alternate has already fought for them previously, they will be disqualified.
If a hero is not able to attend any of their matches due to an emergency, your alternate will become the new hero. In this case, you will no longer have an alternate hero.
All participating heroes and alternate heroes must have been in the guild at the time the event was announced.
After a guild has chosen their participants, the guild leader must email rappelz@gala-net.com with the subject “HEROES”. This email will include the hero’s name, the server name, the alternate hero’s name, and a guild motto that will be included in the winner’s post.
Participating guilds must contact us by 12:00 PM PST on March 4 or they will be disqualified.
All fights will occur between 10 AM and 1 PM PST M-F.
We are not responsible for any items not returned or lost/stolen by your guild heroes and/or alternate heroes.
All fights will be performed in the abyss with a game master referee.
Fights will be recorded by Gala-Net staff.
Immorality and wrath gained from the fights will be removed.
Items, experience points, and lak lost from fights on Pantera will be restored.
Any items may be used in the fights.
No exploits may be used in the fights (judged by the attending GM’s)
Players will turn PK on and a signal from the GM will start the match. Players that begin fighting before the signal is given will be disqualified.

Format:
Round 1: Four contestants will be chosen at random to receive a pass. The remaining eight contestants will fight.
Round 2: The winners of round 1 will fight the contestants that received a pass.
Round 3 (Semi-Finals): The four winners of round 2 will fight each other.
Round 4 (Finals): The final two heroes will fight each other!

Prize:
A post on the GM events page including the Hero’s name, the name of the guild they are from, and their guild motto.
10 God Mother Fairy Bottles and a piece of r6 jewelry chosen by the hero.
Special cloak designed specifically for the heroes.

GM Pinata!



Do you like GMs? Do you like piñatas? Well now you can experience the best of both in our GM piñata event! Players will get to beat up GMs and when they die, a random piece of their equipment will drop for anyone to grab; you will just have to get lucky and pick it up quick!

Keep in mind, though, that the GM’s will be dressing down for the event, so no +20 items for you!

Each day, the event will start at 2:00 PM PST and will continue until the GMs no longer have any items.* Get your piñata sticks ready!

For the next two weeks, the letters P, E, and T will drop from monsters all over the world. And you know what those letters spell...PET!

Combine P-E-T for one of the following items:

• Creature Resurrection Scroll
• Normal Basic Pet Card
• 14 Day Decorative Pet
• An Exclamation Mark!

An exclamation mark, you ask? Well, pets are like anything else - the louder the better! So add an exclamation mark to your pet!

GM-Event



Think You’re Fast at Questing?

Prove it in our Quest Test event! Race against players from all servers to complete 75 quests. Six races will be held, on a different server each day! Show the other servers how quickly you can quest; Show your server pride! The fastest quester out of all the servers will win a prize for their server.


Rules

• There will be no racers on their home servers. i.e. no NAGA(name) racers on the Naga server. Players will be able to participate in as many races as they desire as long as they obey this rule.
• Create a new character on an alternate server with the following naming convention:
  
  TOR(name) – Tortus
  BAHA(name) – Bahamut
  PAN(name) – Pantera
  UNI(name) – Unicorn
  NAGA(name) – Naga
  FEN(name) – Fenrir
  
  
• Do not advance your character in any way before the start of the race.
• You must remain in the starting ring of the intro area before the race begins.
• You cannot trade with any players, nor use the auction house or warehouse. If you are found to be evading this rule by picking up items that your friend drops, etc, you will be disqualified.
• Items purchased from the item shop are allowed.
• The logs of the winners of each race will be checked to insure that all rules were followed.
• Once you’ve completed 75 quests you must alert a GM. Please keep count! Repeatable quests are acceptable!
• Wrath removal services will be provided from 2:00 – 3:00 PM PST (This means you are allowed to PK the racers!)
• For immorality removal, send an email to rappelz@gala-net.com with the subject “JONNY QUEST” and your account and character name in the body. Immorality removal services will only be available for up to one week after the event ends (June 21). Immorality will only be reset to 0, positive morality will not be restored.

Auf dem EU-Server läuft das Koreanische Event 1 (4 Wochen Event). Hier sind mal die Details dazu im gewohnt sperrigem Deutsch der GMs:

Eventbeschreibung

• Der Rappelz World Cup ist ein einmonatiges Event an dem jeder teilnehmen kann.
• Die Quest erhaltet ihr vom NPC „Balljunge Kaiser Franz“, welchen ihr in den folgenden Städten antreffen könnt. (Horizon, Katan, Laksy, Rondo, Stadtruinen, Verstecktes Dorf)
• Die Quest kann pro Charakter nur einmal täglich akzeptiert werden.
• Der NPC wird von euch ein WORLD Ticket verlangen, welches  ihr aus den verschiedenen teilen zusammenfügen könnt, die ihr von gefallenen Monstern erhalten habt. Monster können mit Beginn des Events folgende Tickets liegen lassen. „W“ Ticket, „O“ Ticket, „R“ Ticket, „L“ Ticket, „D“ Ticket. Diese Tickets kombiniert ergeben dann das, vom NPC gesuchte, WORLD Ticket.
• Dieses Ticket bring ihr nun zum Balljungen Kaiser Franz, welcher euch dafür einen „Rappelz Cup Vorrunden Spielball“ geben wird. Mit diesem Ball könnt ihr nun in die nächste Phase einleiten. Aktiviert den Ball mit einem Doppelklick um einen der folgenden Gegenstände zu erhalten:Toraus, Pass oder Dribble.
• Erhaltet ihr ein „Toraus“, ging der Schuss daneben. Benutzt den Gegenstand mit einem Doppelklick um einen Trostpreis zu erhalten. Die Quest ist nun für diesen Tag beendet und kann erst wieder am nächsten Tag durchgeführt werden.
• Erhaltet ihr einen Pass oder Dribble, doppelklickt ihr diesen Gegenstand um nun zu sehen wie die Aktion weiter verläuft. Die folgenden Resultate können dabei rauskommen:
  
  - Toraus (Goal Line Out): Der Schuss ging daneben. Benutze den Gegenstand mit einem Doppelklick um einen Trostpreis zu erhalten.
  - Grätsche: Der Ball wurde dir abgenommen und es kam kein Tor zu stande. Benutze den Gegenstand mit einem Doppelklick um einen Trostpreis zu erhalten.
  - Tor: Tooooooooooor! Der Schuss war ein Volltreffer. Gehe zum „Balljunge Kaiser Franz“ und wähle zwischen den folgenden Optionen:
  
  1. Geschenk: Du hast die Möglichkeit die Quest hier zu beenden und einen presi für dein geschossenes Tor zu erhalten.
  2. Spielball: Erhalte einen neuen Spielball für die nächste Runde und versuche dein Glück erneut. Vielleicht schaffst du es ins Finale!
  
  
• Um in das Finale zu gelangen, müsst ihr folgende Bälle mit einem Tor abschließen: Rappelz Cup Vorrunden Spielball, Rappelz Cup Achtelfinale Spielball, Rappelz Cup Viertelfinale Spielball, Rappelz Cup Halbfinale Spielball, Rappelz Cup Finale Spielball.

How Many Creatures Are In The Corral?

Think you are a guru of guessing? Then try your hand at our Creature Corral event! From June 28 to July 2, new threads will appear on the general forums with pictures of huge amounts of creatures. All you have to do is guess how many creatures are shown in the picture, and the closest guess wins! If there are multiple guesses of the exact number of creatures shown, whoever guessed right first wins. One picture will be posted at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM PDT for a total of three pictures per weekday. Pictures won’t be posted on Saturday or Sunday. Make sure you are certain of your guess, because only one guess will be allowed per account. If you edit the post containing your guess after you have posted it you will be disqualified.

The prize for winning is a +3 Creature Taming Card, 5 Creature Resurrection Spellbooks, and 1 Creature Re-specialization Potion! You can only win once, but you can always check out the new pictures as they are posted.

ja so etwas haben die GMs von den EU Servern auch mal gemacht jetzt sind sie schlauer =)

Kann natürlich auch folgenden Grund haben:

Gpotato (oder Rappelz speziell) erfüllt nicht die Erwartungen ihrer "Bosse".
Spielerzahl zu wenig, folgedessen Gefahr für weniger Umsatz in der Zukunft.
Um den ganzen entgegen zu wirken startet "Gpotato" diese (wie jeder 10-Jährige sehen kann)
"Massenaccount-erstell-aktion" um sozusagen die "Zahlen" gerade zu rücken.

Oder, sie sind wirklich einfach so hohl 

(ich tippe auch eher auf letzteres  )
